Edith
DesRoche
Hi, My name is Edith DesRoche and I have
been
employed as Innkeeper at the
heritage inn since September 1995. Prior
to this, I was employed with the Provincial
government for 23
years.
I am the youngest of four children born to
Doris (nee
Gaudet) and the late Eddie
Tremblay. My family lived in Miminegash;
a small fishing village located approximate
ly 15 miles from
Tignish, until 1965. A few
years after this move I met the man I
would marry and in 1971 I married
Leamon DesRoche, son of Arthur
and Alice
(nee Perry) DesRoche, from St. Felix.
Leamon and I have
one Child, our
daughter Penni, who now lives in
Moncton
NB.
My hobbies include sewing, knitting,
interior
decorating, cooking, and reading.
I really enjoy meeting people and
sharing
information about this beautiful and interesting part of
Prince Edward Island with them. Leamon also enjoys meeting people too.
He's been a bartender at the local legion for the past 23
years.
Leamon and I live in St. Felix; a small community located 2
miles from Tignish. We share our home with our pet, a Persian cat, named
Misty. |
